A book about a Colombian girl(<--like me) who is named Liliana (<--like me). Gotta add it! Lol

Great. When will the next one be published?

I'm still not sure what genre it fits, but the book is outstanding. The author's voice is perfect for this story. And I could not put the book down. I read it on one sitting.Liliana is just a 13 year old typical teen when her American mother is murdered in front of her. With no other relatives--save for one aunt who has 6 children of her own and lives in poverty, she is forced to go to Columbia and live with a father she hasn't seen since she was 3 years old. The character building and world

If she does a task wrong or fails to get back on time, she is punished. When she meets a guy, she finds herself having feelings for him. Truth is, Liliana doesn't know just how manipulative and shady he can be. This was a fast-paced read, very dialogue driven. I really wanted to get to know the characters more,

Oh my goodness, I cried through chapter four, I'm so embarrassed. This story played with my emotions, I have never been so emotionally drawn in by a book. It's crazy, I can't wait for the next in the series.
