I wasn't sure what to expect from this book. Typically, war based stories are so full of minute details that they detract from the story for me. The plot sounded intriguing though, so I decided to give it a shot. It ended up being one of the better WWII stories that I have read. I don't think I'm cut out for thrillers and espionage. All throughout this book, I kept grimacing and wincing and putting it down because I simply couldn't stand the suspense.
