Lisa Terry generously gifted Moment(s) to me, and I can say the best compliment to her wonderful story would be the fact that, beside four kids living at home and a road trip to visit my eldest daughter, I still devoured this book in less than three days. This was a fantastic debut novel!The characters are amazing, each being relatable. The dynamic between the characters, especially Julian and Emilie was amazing.The plot goes deeper than most books dealing with fame, fandom and bands, which was refreshing. It gripped me and had me hooked up until the last page.Anyone who knows what it's like to be a part of a fandom will absolutely love this book.

The characters were really interesting and the romance was good but the central mystery was convoluted. At some times it came off as an earlier draft, for instance character's names changed spelling at one point.Started off really strong but lost pacing from the Middle onwards.

Reasons to read Moment(s):- Scottish adorable boy. Who's a rockstar. Julian is so cute--his trains of thoughts amusing, sweet, a little sneaky, fun fun fun. Moment(s) is a mix of romance and mystery, with a string of murders in the background of the romantic dealings between Julian and Emilie. Despite there being some issues with the book I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Im going to deal with that issue at the start so we can get it over and done with. Basically, the book needed more proofreading. Reading a self-published book Im expecting there will be some typos and things as the writer doesnt have access to the editing team as someone publishing



I'm pretty sure the English snob in me fell for Emilie at the mere mention of her writing poetry in "iambic pentameter" but the girly side of me was in love with Julian, the rocker with a heart of gold, by the end of page three. Lovely characters, cool premise, and I adore the untraditional take on the love-at-first-sight scenario.
