After reading Zarek's book, I was almost sure nothing could be better than that book. And sadly, I was right. I was excited, since I thought the 'can't remember Wulf after five minutes' plot was interesting, but instead I found myself waiting (and wanting) for this book to end. I find it hard to follow the mythology of the series sometimes, since it has too many characters, but I can overlook that (because it could only be me), but this book was particularly hard to follow and kind of pointless
