Read this in one afternoon. Literally didnt want to put it down. It was excellent! Such a good reminder that this world is not all there is. And that the things that concern us now are inconsequential compared to living in the light of Jesus love.

It's hard for me to connect with books this short, but it was still pretty good. A really intense story showing the power of Christ in us, if we choose to stand for Him and refuse to deny our faith.

Dekkers imagery invites the reader to consider the possibility of another reality. A reality in which we learn to see ourselves as we are seen by God. When readers step into the character roles so clearly constructed we get a glimpse of what we might or might not be able to see. Read it, and imagine what is not of your imagination.

This was a very short book, but very powerful. It moved me to tears several times. The ending left me with some unanswered questions that I hope are answered in books 2, 3, and 4 in this series. Every person who feels unlovely needs to read this. We are all beautiful to God.
