I was looking forward to reading this book after giving 5 stars to Die Therapie (Therapy being the English title) but unfortunately I found this book hard work. The basic plot, storyline and massive twist at the end were great but maybe the translation made it jumpy and difficult to follow. I've noticed that this book that was translated by a different person than Die Therapy so maybe that could be the problem? I found it hard to work out who was who with some of the characters and the chapters

Dammit! Oh, Sebastian Fitzek is a brilliant writer! I should know by now that I won't figure it out till the very last second and still, I try and get it hopelessly wrong!What a story and what an ending! The sort of ending that makes me want to throw the book across the room in pure frustration! Brilliant! What I also liked is how the story started with the last chapter and how the page numbers started from 362 to 1. I thought that was a very nice touch and it made me instantly more fascinated

Good readInteresting start and engaging throughout. I liked Zorbach and Alina but I thought the policemen were stereotypes and unbelievable. I guessed who the perpetrator was but didn't make it any less exciting

Brilliant book & certainly worth picking up. A twist at every turn. It had me scared to read on & unable to put down all at the same time. Best book I've read in a long time

Concept excellent, characters likeable, story line well thought out, ending interesting.I had to read in little bites as some of it was so graphic I needed a break. But what I didn't like was the hero still functioning after how many hours with no sleep, being beaten up and no food. This mistake is made by so many authors. Please, some reality now and again.
